Binzhou Medical
University insists on the conception that “talent resource is the first
resource”, and on the guideline of concurrent adoption of training,
introduction and employment from outside. It carries out the “Plan to Support
Academic Backbones as Leading Teachers of Disciplines”, the “Plan to
Construct High Level Innovative Teams” and the “Plan to Train Middle-aged and
Young Backbone Teachers”. For recent five years, it has introduced nearly 300
postgraduates and doctorial students into the university, and employed more
than 50 experts and professors well known both at home and abroad to work for
the university in various forms. These experts and professors include 2
academician under dual employment, 1 specially employed professor under the
title of “Taishan Scholar”, and 4 specially employed experts from overseas
under the title of “Taishan Scholar”. It has thus preliminarily built up a
teachers’ contingent with a suitable size, a reasonable structure and
excellent qualities.
Professor Zhong Shizhen,an academician at the Chinese Academy of
Engineering is employed as an honorary professor at the Shandong University.
Professor Liu Yixun,academician at Chinese Academy of
Sciences is employed as honorary professor and scientific research
consultant of Binzhou Medical University.
